We’re in the news! Visku’s Mentoring Programme featured in Logistics Matters

30 October 2025

We’re excited to share that the Visku Mentoring Programme has been featured in Logistics Matters. The article takes a closer look at what the programme’s all about, who’s involved, and why mentoring across companies is already making a big difference.

What’s in the article?

It starts with a recap of our first in-person mentoring event in Birmingham this September. People from across logistics, warehousing, transport and supply chain came together to talk, share experiences and strengthen connections.

The piece captures exactly why mentoring matters, and why it doesn’t need to be formal or complicated. Just one hour a month can lead to honest conversations, fresh ideas and a real sense of support.

There are brilliant quotes from mentors and mentees too. Some talk about developing leadership skills or learning to pause and reflect. Others mention the buzz of connecting with someone completely outside their own company, and how energising that can be.

One story that stood out? A mentor shared how his mentee, a graduate, spotted an opportunity to influence policy around London transport. It’s a great example of reverse mentoring and a reminder that fresh perspectives can come from anywhere.

Why we’re so proud

We launched the Visku Mentoring Programme because we believe this industry, and the people within it, are full of potential. But too often, people get stuck thinking they don’t have time, don’t know the right people, or aren’t “senior enough” to be involved. That’s where we come in.

The Visku Mentoring Programme is free, open to everyone, and not tied to membership. Whether you’re starting your career in the supply chain sector, or in a senior role, it’s a chance to connect with someone new and learn from each other.

Fancy getting involved?

Thanks to Logistics Matters for shining a light on what we’re building together.

Let’s keep the conversation going.
